Finally I am here!
Just like the first week of a new semester, what can I say, well, I have been to the wrong classrooms twice in my first week in September! The first week of the online "Building Teaching Skills Through the Interactive Web" course is bumpy yet exciting for me.
I call it "bumpy" because I have suffered a major setback in the first week as I could not access the course google websites after the course has already officially begun, which made me very worried. It took me more than three days to fix the problem.Thank goodness with the help of Sean and my sponsor, I finally got over it and here I am!
I have read the posts from my class members on Nicenet, and also the blogs published by former participants of the course. I have to say I totally feel their passion and enthusiasm for the course and for the profession, which makes me very excited and encouraged. Also, I am eager to know more about the new stuff like Delicious, WebQuest ect. mentioned in the blogs. I am really looking forward to learning from the course, from all of my classmates!
Sijing, it's a real challenge to post a comment because all the signs are on Chinese or Japanese (Sorry, I don't know exactly). I guess many of us had some troubles with creating their first blog, at the same time there are participants who are real experts whose blogs impresse both bu structure and content. I hope we all have such a chance to learn how to do it and I wish we would do it!
ReplyDeleteHi Helga, I am sorry, I really do not know where has gone wrong. I changed the language setting, but still. Really, as you said, this is our chance to learn! We should learn and make improvements! So maybe I should do it all over again.
DeleteNow it works! I hope this time you will have no problem reading my blog!
DeleteHi Sijing, it works! Good work! As for me, I failed to add my blog to Blog Roll and asked Sean for help. We are here to learn step by step. It's really exciting and amusing to become a student again, to learn something new and not to lag behind our students.
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right! Let's work together! Good luck for both of us!
